Sorry Day 2016

23 May, 2016

Thursday May 26 marks the 19th National Sorry Day. Join us in commemorating this important day and supporting truth, justice and healing for the Stolen Generations.

Sorry Day is an important event that acknowledges the history of forcible removal of Aboriginal families and communities. It is a beautiful and powerful demonstration of reconciliation in action.

To mark this occasion Reconciliation WA and Bringing Them Home have organised a wonderful event in Wellington Square with a selection of workshops and performances. They said this year's Sorry Day event will be exciting, engaging and meaningful for the whole community.
