Good Country Living Fair

We are co-hosting The Good Country Living Fair alongside Anglicare WA in Denmark, WA on Sunday 15 May.

This free community event will run from 10am - 2pm at the Boston Brewery.

All members of the family will be entertained with live music, guest speakers on a range of community-building topics, kids entertainment, free prize draw and much more. Musicians performing include Tony King, Cathy Fotios and alternative folk duo The Outback Gypsies.

Filming for the Sharing Stories: Life on the Land community storytelling project will also take place.

The Boston Brewery is offering a reasonably-priced breakfast menu and free kids entertainment will include local favourite Jamie the Clown as well as a bouncy castle, bucking bull and much more.

Guest speakers will include Dr Cathie Bowen from Curtin University, Len Wilkinson from Kids Central, Grant Westthorp from Albany Men's Resource Centre, Tracey Kippin and Grace Verity from Anglicare and Libby Johnson from CLEAN. They will cover a range of topics including Communicating Well in Country Communities, Raising Resilient Country Kids and Succesful Mental Health Ageing.
