Anniversary of the National Apology

13 Feb, 2017

Monday February 13 marks the 9th anniversary of the National Apology to Australia's First Peoples - a sacred moment in our nation's history that must never be forgotten.

The National Apology acknowledges the history of forcible removal of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities. It highlights the importance of recognising and sharing the experiences of Stolen Generation members and those in our communities who make a difference. Stolen Generation heroes and their experiences are unique to each region around Australia.

Join us in acknowledging the anniversary of the apology and working together for recognition and healing of the Stolen Generations.
